Hey guys i would like to know in order for lets say two or three equations to form a linear system, does all three equations need to have the same variables?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, they have to. (Although it can contain 0 times a certain variable, which means it doesn't appear in the equation.)
