(Math) Would it be good to have an archive of interesting threads searchable by tag? Moderators could specify the threads deemed interesting and supply the tags.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

hmmm .. free labor. :) Without there being any set criteria for moderator status ... nothing set in stone that is, we would be relying upon subjective notions and ideals. just my thought

OpenStudy (amistre64):

If we could save what we considered interesting threads on our profile pages, that would seem like a doable option

Labor, perhaps not so much, button 1 - "Interesting" & space for a tag series. Maybe medal count is a better criterion? The threads could be saved anywhere provided they could be searched by anyone.

Meaning, neophyte joins, searches for "complex" gets a list of links.

Thinking about it a bit, maybe all the help files could be tag searchable as well.

This sounds a bit like the old OpenStudy site (which was in some ways better and in some ways worse than the current version), where you could search topics and the questions related to that topic would pop up. I really liked having that ability so that I didn't ask questions that had already been answered
