Anyone has windows 7 key? mine is a trail version of 30 days.
No yours is not a Trail... -.- it's a Trial, and if you want to use it you need to buy the key or the OS itself or look it up in Google, but here you will not, this is a cs community not a warez one. Before making this kind of question, think first, ok?
go look for windows loader on google
Better yet. Use Linux, it is free. I personally like www.ubuntu.com, go for the 10.10 version, I'm not a big fan of 11.04.
I am not a fan of the 11.04 either lol... I 11.04 and then installed the 10.10.2 LTS and had the same problem with the wifi adapter, it shows it is connected but when you enter to the web browser you stay there hanging and then it says time passed, try again... Must be a problem with the drivers, even if recognized by the system, those doesn't work well... I think if I use the ndfwrapper to solve the problem, but since I cant use the internet in my linux partition, then I have to look for them in Windows, put it in a usb or leave inside windows and then look for them in the nautilus explorer... Now I am foucsed on making a tri-boot pc, Win7, Linux and Mac. Will do a System Image Backup of my windows partition to make sure when I wipe out the HDD to install Mac on it, and then Win7, will use the image to get back as it was my pc in windows in first time. It is like making a snapshot of the whole system.
@ fr33 I love how you take a conversation about Windows and inject your opinion about a completely different OS. He is asking for windows keys (which are transferable as long as they are not exceeding the license limit) from a reliable place of knowledge. If I happen to have a 3 user key laying around because it only costs $30 more to purchase then a single, then I can legally give one of my 3 licensed copy's to him. No one cares that you have driver issues with your Ubuntu partition. It is a well known fact that the drivers for Linux have to be hand written if not developed by the hardware manufacture when the device releases. Give the open source community sometime.
torrent it
@motym123 In first place I started writing about linux just because @Quaternions did write of it, and second is my comment and I can write whatever the F I want, this is a Open CS and all comments pertain to it are welcome. If you don't like it or don't have anything nice to say don't... And third if this person needs keys or whatever, he can look somewhere else, for God sake who doesn't F.. know how to google stuff these days...
@fr33 You are correct in that you can write what you want. So can he. So if he wants to ask for warez, then who are you to scold him? And his question was an open one about Windows. Leave Linux out of it. Should you have a question about how to fix your little driver issue, there is a nice ask question box on the left hand side. I'm sure someone here would love to assist you in your search for drivers. @ illiterate 7Loader by Daz is the best for fixing your problem. It's available all over the net, but make sure you get the lastest version.
Should you choose to pirate your OS. I would ask around to your friends. most people do not realize that they purchase multiple CPU licenses with new computers. If anyone you know has bought the big box version of Windows 7 with the trial disk inside, that license can be used for 3 computers. Microsoft doesn't care who uses the licenses, you just can't sell them. There are better ways to legally get a copy for free. :)
You are right they don't give a pellet if one person pirates the os all they care if someone makes profit for it. Also I always try to do the right thing, the most ethical thing, that's why I tell them to look somewhere else? They don't have to. it is a frienly suggestion... No hard feelings, ok ? Be cool, be fr33 :)
If you want a free OS, try downloading a UNIX variation. I know SunOS is free to download and install, is complete and secure.
As a student you can get windows 7 for very cheap 29.99 with a .edu email
