The x-intercept of the line whose equation is 2x - 3y = 6 is i got 3?

Well the y intercept would be in the form y = mx+b where b is the intercept. Then the x intercept would be in the same form. Or, you also know that the y intercept point is in the form (0, b), then you should know that the x intercept would be in the form (b, 0). In your equation, if the x intercept is when y = 0, you can evaluate 2x - 3(0) = 6 => 2x = 6. Divide by 2 on both sides, you get x = 3.
