Whether or not one can even define an answer in sociology as "real" is up for debate. However, C. W. Mills used the term sociological imagination to help describe the impact of sociology and how it can be applied to daily problems. So this could be very helpful in solving social problems as well as public problems as it allows people to understand the social context and roles people play in situations.
sometimes it may give ral answer for simple problems.
