Okay, any integer: 0 =0/1, 2 = 2/1, -5 = -5/1. In this case, the integer is a, and 1 is b. Another one is 1/8. a =1, b = 8. 5/2. a = 5, b = 2. -13/7. a = -13, b = 7. Does that help?
