brief me on the french history

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which period?? what aspect???

OpenStudy (oscar):

Before France, The region was called Gaul, which was taken over by the Romans. France has always hated The British. Due to conflicts over the water ways. The French Revolution was when the peasants (poor class) overthrew the Loyalist's (Rich class. (due to harsh taxes) Joan of Arc led the French to many victories. (Gained power by religion and being a virgin) France was also occupied by the Franks. (now Germany) None of this is in order, so good luck! :D

@Oscar: the revolution didn't just occured because of harsh taxes. It was more of a protest movement against the dvine monarchy that ended as a revolution. Besides, French did not always hated Great Britain, just look at WWI and well the WWII. I'd be glad to help you but as it was said by Harkirat I'd appreciate if you could specify your question.
