For the contrapositive, you negate the statements, then switch the order. That diagram says, If an animal is a poodle, then it is a dog. Negating them creates, "if an animal is not a poodle, then it is not a dog" Then you switch the order, so the answer is: "If an animal is not a dog, it is not a poodle"

Basically, if you have a statement like, " If p then q", then the contrapositive is "If (not q) then (not p)"
