An evaluation paragraph on Twilight?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The novel Twilight by Stephanie Meyer is indescribably painful to read. Not only is her writing style non-existent, her modifiers are poorly chosen and her sentences are all to similar to create any interesting pace. The main character Bella is a blank character, interesting in that any girl can pass as the same character because she has such limited personality characteristics. The plot itself is rather poor as it is reminiscent of just about every other vampire writer, especially Anne Rice. It is a poorly disguised attempt to pass on her own opinions in regards to relationships and a religious based moral code.

Do you want us to give our thoughts and critique.

Twilight is a book. It is written by Stephanie Meyer. I disagree with mikaela but that's my opinion. I liked her books, and thought they were well written and hard to put down. With a forbidden relationship, not forbidden by parents or friends, but by laws of physics. FaTe, I think so.

i think it's like a supernatural romeo and juliet...

Twilight is the first novel of a series of four books written by Stephanie Meyer. Overall, the characters do not have much depth to them, and the main focus of the story is basically Bella being fought over by two supernatural creatures and what this leads to. The books are poorly edited, but are very popular and are sold around the world in many different languages. Bella is what some people call a negative Mary Sue; there is no description of any qualities that are good about her. She is a terrible role model for young women around the world, and Meyer really should have thought about her character development before publishing her secret fantasies that she thinks about at night.
