for example though. say you have (1,1) and (0,0). the slope is
0-1/0-1. (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) ^ ^ ^ ^
x1 y1 x2 y2
so 0-1 = -1
and 0-1 = -1
= -1/-1= 1/1
