\[2^{3(x+2)}\times8 = 2^{2x+1}\times8^{2/3}\]\[2^{3(x+2)}\times2^{3}=2^{2x+1}\times2^{3(2/3)}\]\[2^{3x+6+3} = 2^{2x+1+2}\]\[3x+9 = 2x+3\]\[x = 3-9 = -6\] I dunno this is the answer you want :S
