Transcription- is the process by which m-RNA is synthesized in the nucleus from a particular gene carrying the code(DNA template). http://www.johnkyrk.com/DNAtranscription.html Translation- is a process from which a poly-peptide(protein) is synthesized based on the triplet codes in the m-RNA.
