In the parallelogram AYXZ, find the value of x and y
aren't the lengths of XT and TA supposed to be the same length? and ZT and TY as well? if this is the case ( I am not sure) than all you need to do is create equate those lengths to each other. You will then be able to solve for x and y.
how do u do that
OK, what mille512 said is correct, the diagonals of a //gram bisect each other which means that the distances on each diagonal either side of the point of intersection are the same. Equating the lengths simply means putting the expressions that you have for those distances equal to each other so to take one of them: Put 2x +12 = 6x - 12 which you can rearrange to 4x = 24 and x = 6. And you can do the same thing for the other diagonal to get y.
