I don't get this. When height is 1 unit , volume is same as area;
but there is a volume

yeah I get that this is like mile vs mile^3

a square that is 2x2 = 4 units^2

a cube that is 2x2x1 = 4 units^3 since we are jumping into a new dimension of space
