Hi everyone, I'm new. (3x^2)^2y^4 ----------- 3y^2 I am supposed to simplify this fraction but am have trouble with my order of operations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it: \[(3x ^{2})^{2}*y ^{4}/(3*y ^{2})\] ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh yes, how did you write it so nicely?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[=3^{2}*x ^{2*2}*y ^{4}/(3*y ^{2})=(9x ^{4}*y ^{4-2})/3=\] finish it please. I used Equation button under the box (when you write your answer/question)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
