how do I solve..... x + 3 > -5/4 write answer in set builder notation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve it just like you would any regular equality.. Isolate the x term by subtracting a 3 from both sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x + 3 > -5/4\] \[x > -5/4 - 3\] \[x > -17/4\]

thank you.
