looking to make a UAV helicopter that i can program in C/C++. anyone know any good places to look for help starting such a project? i'm in the UK..

i found this, maybe it could help u http://arri.uta.edu/acs/pestingu/UAV/. I recommend u reading some robotics books. The hard part its the program it self not the language. If i remember well when i saw robotics, there where planty of schemes of how to make it. There are two basic and important models. First one, i tihnk it was sensing -> panning -> acting and it was a cycle. The other one its the reactive model, u sense -> act, no planning. Both models have great aspect, the first one make good plans but its slowly, and the second one its fast, but dumb. So nowdays there exits the hybrid model, wich make use of both. There are more of things to think about. Like for path finding u may need to code an A* algotihm. Wich sensors to use.
