http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AUTOEXEC.BAT

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AUTOEXEC is definitely supposed to be there. Not sure what the other one is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uh.. ok.. so how about my drive D? the 2 files that is circled. xD

OpenStudy (a_clan):

autorun.inf is not a virus. The second one .pif maybe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The .pif file is not a virus. I suggest you run a virus scan anyhow if you're wondering about the rest of your computer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

should this be marked as "has a good answer" none of these are viruses

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Damn... 'Dan Dan Kokoro Nikareteku'? Last time I listened to it must be years ago :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't think any of them is a virus because .bat file is a batch file , .inf in windows is mostly used for device drivers and .pif file is an information file which is used for running some program.
