factor the polynomial using a special factorization: 24x^3+3y^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know what special factorization means but I would factor this way -- Since 3 is a factor in both term, pull it out 3(8x^3+y^3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Using Sum of Cube X^3+Y^3= (x+y)(x^2-xy+y^2) (2x+y)(4x^2-2xy+y^2) Put that together 3(2x+y)(4x^2-2xy+y^2)
