wat is the easyest way to solve linear systems by graphing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the intercepts, draw the lines n find the point of intersection if any

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you will still need to solve the equations to get the exact max/min co-ordinates or/and intersection points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

say you have -80 and one of the numbers in the eqation wat is a eazy way to get that number down so its easeier to graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-80 mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like 6x+8y=-80 and 15x-10y=-80

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i haVE 2 GRAPH IT

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok transform the eqn in intercept form by dividing both sides by -80

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(6/-80)x+(8/-80)y=1 x y ---- +------- =1 (-80/6) (-80/8)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x intercept is -40/3 y intercept =-10 mark the interceprts on the respective axes, join the points to get the line
