What is difference between M PHIL and MS...????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

While both master degrees, an MPhil (Master of Philosophy) is usually regarded as being of a higher level than an MSc or MSci (Master of Science). An MPhil, is one level down from a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) qualification. To obtain a MPhil, one is assessed upon original research (often under the guidance of a senior academic supervisor) usually through submission of a dissertation or thesis, whereas a MSc is typically a taught course involving structured project work as well as assessment through written examinations.
