FInd the equation of the line that is perpendic. to the line y=5 and passes through (-3,2). Please show me how to do this.

OpenStudy (id21):

this line is x=-3

OpenStudy (id21):

y=5 line is parallel to y axis, so every x=0, 1, -1, etc. line is perpendicular to y=5, but you need this concrete line, which crosses point (-3,2), where x=-3, so the line parallel y=5 is x=-3

I see it now, thank you for typing that out for me.
