if you don't have powerpoint, look up something called sliderocket, you'll need to experiment with both, but keep in mind that a slideshow is like putting pieces of paper on a camera that you show a class. The first one usually has a title and an author, then you switch papers, and put one up talking about what your topic is. Then you switch papers again to go in depth with your answer, and on and on. Those papers are called slides, and also keep in mind that you need to do an oral part along with your slideshow. So remember that what you say is the audio, and what your slides show is the visual. You can go from there, I think.

YouTube has several videos on how to make a presentation slide show with PowerPoint. Having the visual step-by-step is very helpful. One tip is not to include too much information (words and pictures) on each slide. The words have to be in big enough font size for the class to be able to read it. Good luck!

try using http://docs.google.com/ its very easy, you just create a account and you can log on from any computer and work on it!
