First you need to find the length of DW. You are told the klength of AD is 24 and that the angle DAW is 60 degrees. Therefore you have a right angled triagle and can use trig. \[\sin 60 = \frac{DW}{24}\] or rearranged, \[DW=24\sin 60\]. Now BY =40, and as you have a rectangle, then WX also equals 40. So the length \[DX=DW+WX\]
