a: You need common denominators. I'd try 30. \[{13x^2 \over 15 }*{2 \over 2} + {13x^2 \over 10} * {3 \over 3} ={{26x^2 + 39x^2} \over 30}\] b. Ditto with 6x c. and d are different beasts.
