The heat of combustion of gasoline is 48 MJ/kg, and one gallon of gas has a mass of 3 kg. If it burns at 390°C, and the outside temperature is 23°C, what is the maximum work you can get out of 14 gallons of gasoline?

Use the formula for thermal efficiency for a Carnot engine. You have Th and Tc and Qin, it's an easy plug&chug problem.
