can we connect two computers directly using rj45 for file sharing??

connect the 2 computers with RJ45 through their LAN ports.......... Try setting up a local network............ Then try assessing the files.

PS:This is a prediction ........hope it works...........I haven't done it.

yes you can and you need to create a network place where the shared files folder will exist

You'll have to statically address both PC's with different IP addresses on the same subnet. Also, depending on how old the PC's are, you may need a crossover cable. It's much easier to do with a switch and/or router.
