this is soo frusterating.. the computer doesnt let me get past this assignment. help please. Find the area of an equilateral triangle (regular 3-gon) with the given measurement. 9-inch perimeter A = _______ sq. in.
\[s^2\frac{\text{Sqrt}[3]}{4}\]
This will find you area of equilateral triangle, remember each side is 3
so then i would end up with 2 and 1/4?
\[\frac{9 \sqrt{3}}{4}\]
Your s = 3, so 3 * 3 * Sqrt(3) all over 4 is your area.
P=9 inches than each side = 3 inches A=(b*h)/2 3/2=1.5 h= 1.5tan60 h=2.5980 A=(3*2.6)/2 A=3.897114317 you round
Don't worry. She will be back soon, saying, Computer won't accept my answer.
