How to run a sevlet program?

To run servlet in apache tomcat
1. Download Servlet-Api.jar from sun webiste and place it in the tomcat directory, If you using Windows the path like this:"C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\common\lib"
2. For creating web application visit the website : http://tomcat.apache.org
There tutorial is available for creating web application based on jsp and servlet.
