Show all work. The area of a rectangular swimming pool is given by 5x^2 +31x+6 ft^2. One side length of the pool is given by 5x+1 feet. What is an algebraic expression for the other side length of the pool? Simplify this, and include correct units as part of your answer. What is the expression first?

5x^2+30x+x+6 5x(x+6)+1(x+6) (5x+1)(x+6)/(5x+1) cancel and you're left with x+6 ft

just divide area by one side .. :) x+6 is the answer
