Thank you. :) I was hoping for a site that showed proofs of the problems. Im heading back to college after a very long time and have to COMPASS. Im a visual learner and the proofs would help me see the process....ya knbow?

If you want a geometric explanation for a 2x2 system what you are doing is finding the intersection of two lines if it exists.

If the lines are the same there are an infinite number of solutions, if they are parallel but not the same there are no solutions, if they intersect there is a single solution.
