how would I graph y=10/7x+4 using the slope and y intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Slope is 10/7 and the y-intercept is (0,4).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since you have the equation in slope-intercept form (y = mx + b). The slope (m) is the number in front of the x. The y-intercept (the b) is the other number - always (0, b).

so (o,4) and 10/7??? how to graph this Puzzled

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First always plot the y-intercept - so put a point on (0,4). Then from there rise 10 and then run 7. In other words from (0,4) go up 10 and to the right 7. Plot a second point there (that should be point (7, 14). Draw a line through the two points.
