5x+6y=2 10x+12y=4

OpenStudy (angela210793):

@Nikita how did u find it? cause if u multiply with a (-2) in the 1st eq u get -10x-12y which whn u'll add with 10x+12y will be =0?

OpenStudy (nikita2):

there is the set of answers http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=5x%2B6y%3D2%2C+10x%2B12y%3D4

OpenStudy (angela210793):

yea..I saw tht...:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5x+6y=2 -------------(1) 10x+12y=4 -------------(2) if we multiply (1) by -2 and add (2) to it we get.. -10x - 12y = -4 10x + 12y = 4 0 = 0 This means that the two equations have infinite solutions......
