I think that they are both good for different reasons.  Facebook is a great way to let your friends know what you like, and also shows about you.  Google+ is just a nice tool to show that you like something.  It really depends on what the individual uses more, and probably won't be that much "competition".  I don't use Facebook, but do use Google, so for a person such as myself, Google+ would be better. :)

create a new google+ mail id , since it is newly launched you will get what ever mail id you need.....
google plus similar to face book social network.. they have circles for freinds and family...

My evaluation:
 - finally Google's done a decent job with the social network thing
 - I see no clear advantage over facebook.

I'm in a `wait-and-see' mode. I want to see what they do with it.

Google+ has an uphill battle to unseat facebook.  I think it is likely that Google+ will do it though.  It is just a matter of time.
