(4x^3+2x^2-10x+1)/(x-2)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

either divide it out; or enter it into wolframalpha.com

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the answer in interval rotation?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

synthetic division is good to try out ... 4 2 -10 1 0 8 20 20 ------------ 2|4 10 10 21 4x^2 +10x +10 + 21/(x-2) if i did it right

OpenStudy (amistre64):

interval notation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the actual question? are you supposed to divide and get a quotient and a remainder, or are you supposed to say what the domain is? your last question about interval notation makes me wonder...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to answer in interval notation.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

your question is incomplete ... and my mind reading skills arent that great.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

interval notation would be akin to finding the range and/or domain of the relation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. i have no idea of how to complete it myself.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

... neither do we since the stated problem and the needed answer dont make any sense. Is there a way to attach a picture of what it is you are looking at?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

all we have to go on is a stated expression like: 10x and some vague notion that the answer needs to be in interval notation. are there any options?
