Hello there! I just wanna know if someone has a good demostration for gauss's law showing that it works for any closed surface

Hi! I thank you for your previous answer! I don't know if there is a demonstration, I've read many books about it and none of them gave a formal demostration. You can try it yourself by choosing for instance a cube to get the electric field produced by a single positive charge. Anyway I guess there is no such demonstration because its kind of intuitive. All the field's line are gonna go through the surface no matter how weird its shape is and since the flux its proportional to the charge enclosed by the surface as long as you make sure it does there is no other possible answer.

I've already found a kind of demostration for any surface, 'cause when i'd to demostrate the gauss's law i chose an sphere but it was wrong (besides the fact that in that case the theorem is valid) because i didnt contemplate other surfaces such us cilinders or planes.
