taking precalculus next year. any prep advice? things to review?
what do they cover in pre-calc?
I don't know to be honest. We weren't told. I know this is pretty lame, but I truly don't even know what calculus or pre calculus is.
Ok, calculus is basically just a few new concepts: limits, derivative, and integration. Pre-calculus (I would imagine) is probably just a full overview of the algebra you'll need to succeed in calculus with perhaps a little talk about limits.
for precalc some things that you will be going over (if my memory serves me correctly) are alot of stuff to do with trig functions as well as some analytical geometry. so make sure you know your trig identities, those will come in handy.
I'm taking it too! but basically they said go over all the major algebra points and some triggonometry
thanks guys! I will review my stuff. much appreciated!
