help solve plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int\limits_{}^{} (2+4x^2)^2dx\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Foil it out, then integrate term by term.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks, I wouldn't be asking if I weren't stuck.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What did you get when you foiled it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8xdx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(2+4x^2)^2 \]\[=(2 + 4x^2)(2+ 4x^2) \]\[=4 + 8x^2 + 16x^4\] So yeah. Not 8x.
