The threat of lack of resources, and incoming explosive attack keep the residents from returning to their town. But even if they return what would they find? Houses were on fire, stores had been looted and vandalized. Rebel trucks were taking stolen goods away from the village. The rebel group is sending a message of fear and violence which is the exact thing they are fighting to abolish. These rebel group’s malicious actions against the same citizens they are supposed to be fighting for, make me question the support of NATO forces in Libya. NATO is short for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, which is made up of 26 countries from North American and Europe. NATO’s goal is to safeguard the freedom and security of countries by political and military means. How can NATO support the rebels in their war effort when the rebels are not at all keeping security in the villages they control. If the rebel forces succeed in taking control of Libya, how will they treat their citizens? If this act of anarchy in Qawalish is an indicator of future policy, we could be empowering a regime similar to Hamas. Qaddafi is a brutal dictator who violated numerous human rights. Under Qaddafi’s control the citizens of Libya will never be free. I think that it is extremely important to get Qaddafi out of power. The only way to get Qaddafi out of power is to support the rebels. We find ourselves in a dilema, support violent rebel troops or do nothing to stop the libyan totatlitarian government. I think what NATO needs to do is to regulate what the rebels are allowed to do. NATO should tell the rebels that they will not send support if the rebels continue to violate citizens rights. I think that as much as we can do to try and stop violence from happening, in the end it is war, and war is anarchy, violence, and death.
just a sec sorry
its fine take your time
beside the only one road = beside the only road maybe change this sentence a bit to make it read smoother The threat of lack of resources, and incoming explosive attack keep the residents from returning to their town. could be The threat, lack of resources, and incoming explosive attack keeps the residents from returning to their town. i know it changes what the sentence says, but its also easier (for me) to read this way. How can NATO support the rebels in their war effort when the rebels are not at all keeping security in the villages they control should be changed to How can NATO support the rebels in their war effort when the rebels are not keeping the villages they control secure ? pretty good btw, interesting read seeing as im not that up to date with the situation
alirght, thats the best i got... might come mback later.
