I have a question, Two sets of numbers have the same mean, even though they are not identical. The set that is considered to be more consistent is (A) The set that has the largest number. (B) The set with more positive numbers. (C) The set with the smaller variance. (D) The set with the larger variance.

I chose B, I'm not sure if that is correct.

Anyone?

i think it would be c just because it seems like its trying to say that the number are less spread out so like 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 have a mean of 50 and so does 47 48 49 50 51 52 53 but the second set has a better mean becasue it represents the set better
