Ism working with some statistics on annual income and would like to work out the average of the group but all i have is the number of people who earn each amount ie 133 people earn 50000

You should multiply the number of people who earn each amount by the amount that they earn. Then add all of those numbers together and divide by the total number of people. For example, you would multiply 133 * 50000 = 6650000, then you would add all the numbers that you get through the same process, then divide that by 133 + the total number of other people
