What are the dimensions of the product of the following matrices?

[2 -4 ] x [ -3 5 -1 2 ]
0 5 8 -3 7 0]
1 9

the first matrix is a 3x2, second is a 2x4, to see what the resulting matrix is, just look at the outside 2 numbers:
(3x2)(2x4) = 3x4

if the inside numbers match its possible. when multiplying matrices with different dimensions to check if thier product is defined you do:
(mxn)(nxp)
The product is defined because the insides match, and the resulting product is a mxp matrix.
