OpenStudy (moongazer):

could someone help me with my grammar cause no one is replying on the writing section. sorry if i will ask my question here ^_^

OpenStudy (moongazer):

This is an essay I made about "I am the captain of my soul" Please check my grammar and correct me if i'm wrong. You may chang the positioning of the sentences All humans have the privelage to choose what is right or what is wrong. We are also the one who will make our own decision, no matter what others will say we are still liable on our decision. The line "I am the captain of my soul" means that we are the one who is in control of are doings and we are the one who will decide for ourselves. Thanks!

OpenStudy (moongazer):

help me please! especially the ones who are good in writing

can you add more in my essay?

OpenStudy (moongazer):

not bunch. maybe idea? it should be 5-8 sentences^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We are solely responsible for our actions and deeds we do, we control our fate or so called destiny. Our actions lead to the results that face, no other factors other than ourselves can make us change. Well I am not quite of a writer :P

OpenStudy (moongazer):

wow that is good. but i will not totally copy that, maybe i will rephrase it to make it simpler. ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

glad that it helped ^^

OpenStudy (moongazer):

what do you mean by solely?, I know the meaning but i want a definition so I will not have doubt in using "solely" in my essays. because I am having doubt using unfamiliar words whenever i write an essay even i know the thought being described by a word

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here solely means being the only one or being alone in an aspect

OpenStudy (moongazer):

that word "solely" will really help me a lot with my essays I now know how to make "the one", "only one" sound better that really helped me a lot. Thanks! I hope to be better in speaking and writing in english this (or what is the word to make it "better during the school year and at the end of the school year") school year do you know that word? hehehe^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i didn't understand your question

OpenStudy (moongazer):

What is the word or how you make a sentence that says I want to be good during and at the end of the school year. l think it is on the tenses

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I want to be good throughout the school year. or I want to excel throughout the school year. normally the word "excel" is used as a supporting word like I want to excel in mathematics, this school year.

OpenStudy (moongazer):

thanks! that is the word hehehehe i forgot it ^_^
