2576/7=368, so we have 368 groups of seven students. 2 out of every group joins the course, so we have 2*368=736 total students.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 736? is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have another one ^_^

OpenStudy (sriram):

2576*2/7 =368*2=736

OpenStudy (sriram):

30*2/5=12

The answer is 12, the easiest way to see this I think is just to true a couple values and see if they work. If they lose 12 games then they have to win (12/2)*3=18 games. 18+12=30 so that works exactly.

new one!

OpenStudy (sriram):

27

From the text we know: l=3w and 2l+2w=72. Try to solve this system.
