First I find both intersects. The x-intersect is found by plugging y=0 into the equation. This gives me x = 12, thus the x-intersect is (12, 0). The y-intersect is found by plugging x=0 into the equation. This, in turn, gives me y = 8, thus the y-intersect is (0, 8). Knowing both intersects, I can draw the line that passes through both points.
