I think what nemma is trying to say is that if 18.01SC (fall 2010) is better than 18.01 (2006). I think fall 2010 is better. Lectures are the same but I think the newer is better organized, besides it contains recitations, hand-outs and worked examples not only for each lecture but also for each topic in a lecture. I hope it helps.
