I need help with geometry and I have no idea of how to do it????
how do I find the supplementary angles make it easy
adds to 180. so the supplement of 160 degrees is 20 degrees
So, I have a 6x + 5 and I have to solve for 2 and 1x , okay what do I do
This is for geometry
I get the 180 for the straight line at the bottom and then what 160 - 180 for the 1x that is 20. Now, do I have to take 180 minus the other to get answer for 2 is that really how easy it is
Sounds about right, difficult to be sure without a pic...
I know im sorry ,and what do I do with the 5x+6 and I have to figure out the 2 and 1 I have the one it is 20 now I need to know what to do with the 5x+6 .???
If I understand, you got 1x = 20 so 5x + 6 = 5*20 +6 = 106 As I said, easier with a pic....
Yes I know but I cant get a pic for you sorry
Are u on a pc?
If so, just accessories/paint, draw it (doesn't have to be a work of art), save it, upload it. Or http://www.twiddla.com/home.aspx maybe...
I hope this works and you can help me understand better thank you
OK, you have two angles on a straight line, so those two angles will add up to 180 degrees. If I understand your pic correctly, then one angle is 6x+5 and the other angle is x. So if we add them together, the sum must be 180. 6x +5 +x = 7x + 5 = 180 so 7x = 175 and x = 27 degrees OK?
okay now wait a min now is the number is suppose to be 6 and not 7 or are you adding im sorry im trying to understand
One angle is 6x+5 and the other is x so I am adding them together to get 7x +5?
thank you so much for your help that does help me out a lot
