Find the area of an equilateral triangle (regular 3-gon) with the given measurement. 6-inch radius A = sq. in. can someone helpme with this question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright you know the radius and ,by geometry you know the angles. set up a triangle with hypotinuse of 6 a lower angle of 30 and an upper angle of 60. through soh cah toa you find the base to be 3 sqrt 3 and the height to be 3. through the area of a tiangle you get (1/2)*(3 sqrt(3))*(3). now you have 6 equal areas in the triangle so you multiply that by 6. =3^3*sqrt(3)=3

i lied = 27 sqrt(3) had a brain fart
