One side of a triangle is 15 inches, and the area of the triangle is 90 sq. inches. Find the area of a similar triangle in which the corresponding side is 9 inches. does anyone know this stuff its area comparsion of polygons

Remember (because I'm sure I've mentioned this on previous questions) that the ratio of the area of a polygon is the _square_ of the ratio of the side. The sides in your case here have a ratio of 15/9 = 5/3. So, what would be tha ratio of the areas? Figure that out and we'll look at the next step.
