okay so split it into two triangles, and a rectangle. since we know the top base is 6 and the bottom is 10, that makes the bases of the triangles 2. a= 1/2b*h...so area or triangle= 1/2 * 2 * 4...= 4..two triangles, that's 8. then the rectangle is just a=l*w so a=6*4= 24.. 24+8= 32 theres your area
